In an Alpine village, this room for two children (ages 4 and 7) is designed as a contemporary retreat: warm, tidy, essential. Natural oak defines the atmosphere with vibrant, tactile grains, while a clean, geometric language builds clear volumes, intended to support growth and simplify daily life.
The project revolves around a large storage wall: a piece of furniture architecture that organizes toys, books, and clothes, reducing clutter and leaving room for movement. The distinctive detail is the reeded wardrobe wall, an elegant screen that conceals the door and transforms a technical element into a scenic gesture: a rhythmic surface, soft in the light, which amplifies the feeling of calm and protection.
Precious and natural materials elevate the experience: authentic finishes, precise joints and details, and the inclusion of organic textures such as Organoid, capable of bringing the landscape's materials into the home—scents, fibers, micro-reliefs—for a sensory, healthy, and welcoming environment. A "mountain" room that is not folkloristic: contemporary, functional, and designed to last over time, combining play, rest, and autonomy.

The project is defined by a curated selection of colours and refined finishes, designed to recreate a contemporary alpine atmosphere: natural oak, warm and tactile, dialogues with Organoid surfaces with a lively and sensory texture, and with fluted wood, which adds rhythm, depth and discreet elegance. The surfaces are not mere "coverings", but material to be touched: the oak reveals veins and nuances, Organoid brings an organic and authentic dimension into the home, while the fluted wood creates a graphic texture that orders the space and enhances its volumes.
