In the heart of the Como countryside, these two bedrooms for a brother and sister were conceived as a unified project: the same material language, the same warm and enveloping atmosphere, but with different accents that tell two personalities.
The common thread is natural oak, chosen for its vibrant grain, chromatic depth, and ability to age gracefully. A material that speaks of Lombard tradition, exposed beams, and authentic craftsmanship – but reinterpreted with clean lines and contemporary volumes.
L.'s Room
Essential, tactile, architectural.
The oak storage bed forms a solid and compact base, almost a podium. The lines are clean, devoid of superfluous decoration. Above, the wall unit system with solid fluted doors introduces rhythm and verticality: a three-dimensional texture that captures natural light from the window and creates soft shadows.
The sage green of the wall dialogues with the external landscape, bringing the tones of the Como meadows and fields into the room.
The result is a cozy, balanced space where the materiality of wood meets a rigorous and modern composition.

G.'s Room
Warm, bright, harmonious.
Here, the design softens in proportions and composition. The full-height wardrobe in a light finish creates a uniform and quiet surface, while the oak bookcase and desk introduce warmth and material continuity.
The bed, upholstered in natural ivory textiles, amplifies the feeling of softness and welcome. The structure remains essential, but the atmosphere is brighter, more ethereal.
Oak, also a protagonist here, is used in a calibrated way: never intrusive, always balanced with respect to the light surfaces.
